Ketamine Therapy - A New Treatment for Depression that is Difficult to Find!
It's been a long and difficult journey, but I've finally found something that works for me. I'm talking about Ketamine Therapy - a series of 6 injections into the muscle. The results have been incredible but there is a rebound effect after 3 to 4 weeks. So I feel that I need Spravato, in addition, to help with the rebound effect, that way when I feel anxiety, or depression coming on, a spray in each nostril and the symptoms are relieved, why would any physician not want a patient to have this option? The statistics are amazing regarding what Ketamine does. Is it that big Pharma who has poisoned us with SSRI medications for many years now, who in my opinion fear physicians will no longer prescribe these SSRIs they produce that let's not forget cause permanent conditions like tardive dyskinesia for which they now make new medications to treat that side effect from those SSRIs? Can't Prescribe Ketamine, but SSRIs are no problem, go figure!
ketamine therapy is a new treatment for depression that has shown promising results in clinical trials which Insurance is now covering. However, it is very difficult to get prescribed this medication not due to its high cost and the fact that it is not covered by most insurance plans, its finding a physician to prescribe it. The best way to find a provider who offers ketamine therapy is to search online or ask your primary care physician for a referral, we can also show you if you leave a message. If you are considering ketamine therapy, it is important to be aware of the potential side effects, which can include dizziness, nausea, and vomiting. But the rewards compared to the risks are many. For example, ketamine has been shown to be effective in treating depression within hours, while traditional medications can take weeks or even months to work. In addition, ketamine is non-addictive and does not have the same risk of dependence as other antidepressants. Given the potential benefits of ketamine therapy, it is disappointing that it is so difficult to obtain. It is time for insurance companies to start covering this vital medication so that more people can access its life-changing benefits.
It seems our medical system in the United States is designed to keep us all sick. especially when it comes to mental health, there are so many barriers, the biggest being insurance which is why we need a single-payer system but I digress, Psychketamine therapy is a new treatment for depression which Insurance is now covering. However, it is very difficult to get prescribed this medication due to a lack of physicians willing to become certified to prescribe it, because of the black box warning on the label physicians need to be certified to prescribe it. The best way to find a provider who offers ketamine therapy is to search online or ask your primary care, or a psychedelic professional if they know of any providers in your area. Ketamine has been used for decades but only in the last decade regarding mental health treatments, it's time for other psychedelics to have their fair share in the therapeutic field, MDMA & psilocybin just gained FDA Approval.
We need to fight for what is right, and get this new treatment more easily available to patients suffering from Depression, PTSD, Anxiety & Addictions. The hurdles that have been put up in regards to Spravato are ridiculous. You have a product that works over twice as well as the products on the market now, and you do not want people to have it. It's just madness. We need to stand together and demand better from our government officials. If we all work together, we can make a difference and help those who suffer from mental health disorders get the treatment they need and deserve.
